Our ghastly look at what haunts the Idaho Statehouse continues. Please, come in.

Can you say “bed-side manner?” Vito “The Barbarian” Barbieri can’t. Well, technically, he won’t, because you’re not as smart has he is, and therefore, you don’t deserve to be treated with respect.

With that in mind, “The Barbarian” Barbieri was questioning a female doctor in February when he asked if a woman could swallow a pill during pregnancy to “…determine what the situation is.”

Obviously it’s scary to think that an elected official has such a poor grasp of basic human anatomy, but what’s even scarier is Barbieri won his seat with 66 percent of the vote in 2014.

That only means one thing for the people of Kootenai County: Take off your clothes and put on a gown. The doctor will will see you shortly.

Does he know what he’s doing? No. Definitely not.

“Barbieri: Can this same procedure then be done in a pregnancy, swallowing a camera and helping the doctor determine what the situation is?

Doctor: Mr. Chairman and Representative. It cannot be done in pregnancy simply because when you swallow a pill, it would not end up in the vagina.

Barbieri: Fascinating.”
