It’s Idaho’s version of Jade Helm 15. As the state Legislature’s special session nears, the opponents of a bill that would prevent Idaho from becoming a haven for dead-beat parents have doubled down.
Instead of confessing that they succumbed to the delusions of political extremists, the secessionist wing of the Republican Party has opted to fight back. Some have even claimed the bill is a slippery slope toward U.N. gun registries. Because, you know, Agenda 21.
Fortunately for the children of Idaho, the tinfoil hat brigade is outnumbered by people who take a more potty-trained approach to public policy.
